rerouted my course.
Thought to take I-5 north...
then catch 126 to Ventura.
This might have (perhaps)
beaten rush hour traffic.
But I-5 very heavy...
presumed ten miles slow go.
So took 101 across
San Fernando Valley.
2 hours! 2 @#$%* hours!!!
To cross dense LA County.
Into Ventura, began to move.
Driving hard, first saw ocean coming down off ridge from Simi Valley.
No stops and kept on going as the sun began to set. No shots.
Instead, after getting my bearings in Santa Barbara,
I went into the mountains to the campsite. Full moon. Live oaks.
