Bible study on Nehemiah; the return to Jerusalem from Persia. The Temple restored, so too the walls of Jerusalem. Ezra reads the Law and the people renew the covenant. They confess, testify and swear.
This class is different from others I've been to over the years. It's larger (about 30 people) and the pastor sticks to his syllabus. Smaller groups sometimes become, well, like group therapy, going off topic. He lectures, we listen.
I was standing under the bell when the Angelus rung. Another dimension. I prayed for my friends. I'm doing just fine.
