The new year having commenced, I don't feel any different from yesterday. The mountain has not moved. Everything seems the same. The only issue of import is getting the vehicle through inspection and the registration renewed. I hereby give myself, a terrible procrastinator, two weeks notice.
The view from the street in front of my house. I should be so fortunate as to have one from a picture window. Alas, I don't. Am winding up General Sheridan's memoirs. He was an observer of the Franco-Prussian War of 1870; decidedly biased towards the Germans. French libertines!
Very glad all the holidays are over. Every day can be the same again.
