Coloring Time

I must have a thousand floral images. Thought I might fiddle with the Kindle app I've gotten into with some. Can't say I like them much. The originals all pretty well defined, one loses line definition in the process but the coloration is interesting. The adjustment panel on the small screen is difficult to work with, even with a stylus. The artsy processor I usually use, Fotosketcher, is much easier on the laptop. This particular one is for Androids only. I do like the gouache like above but, yeah, lines disappear. I suppose one could free-hand some in; don't want to get too bleedin' complicated. I do sketches but sure don't publish them.

This looks nice. Again, the shadow definitions get processed out. My neighbor's irises. Every spring! Once knew a girl named Iris. A real trip. Of course, the mnemonic phenomenon ensues. Knew another woman, Lily. She was a great lover but I was still in love with my ex-wife at the time so I had to cool her jets. I think of her too.

Not bad. I'd like to find an app I can use on the laptop to do this sort of effect. Just need to take the time to hunt and peck. Well, this also reminds me of coloring time with the guys at the group home. I'd sometimes invite them to use the laptop for one reason or another. Not much cognition but fun to pull up cartoons and pictures of themselves and those they knew.
