Being a day person has its downside. Up at dawn, fall asleep at dusk. Then awake at midnight. Oh, plenty to do but good to get out in the finally cool air. Real nice just take a ride. Short one. Otherwise, early Monday morning not much on the agenda. This is good, for I can make one up as I go. How's about some tidying up?
"You mean from where you just left getting away from?"
Bit of an inconvenience before taking off just before. Couldn't find glasses. Composing myself, recalled where I'd left them and there they were. Mindful that a tidy would help locate the back-up pair! Usually keep all the carrying matter in one place, an antique Chinese jewel case with cut jade appliqued with brass fittings. On the shelf in living room; usually put glasses alongside but, more often than not, take them off and just place them down wherever I do so. This particular time I'd taken them off on the front patio and placed on bench. Yeah... some search inside some time. Where, oh where? Oh, yeah. Yeah. Found them. And here I am seeing just fine. Insofar as automatically goes.
In planning the week, can't get past Wednesday... DBacks have to get past Rockies, yo. Should be a good one. Would have liked to have taken it in with milady but... alternative venue will do. Nothing but trouble. Most disrespectful.
Oh... reality check... milady a figment. Thought well of her - until.
Call it a motivating factor until facts get in the way. Most inconvenient.
On the whole, I'd rather be in Devonshire. Beastly people hereabouts.
Adaptions, however, make for some social interaction. Oppressive, I must say.
