As I struggle with mine grammar...
am reminded of this splendid book.
Hilarious. Think I've mentioned it before. I try to minimize the statements and keep the descriptions simple. I'd like, sometimes, to say more but privacy and propriety have to be paramount. That's difficult when complaining about relationships or the lack thereby and thereof.
Striving to keep it all logical and sensible helps. Sometimes, however, I do wonder whether doing this exacerbates the issues broached, many of which are irresolvable on account of estrangement.
Have got to at once 'get a grip' while maintaining a sense of humor confronted with "Get a life." Now that's a good one; the parenthetic quip is a slogan therefore a comma is not indicated as it would be if it were a statement. Or something like that... right? LOL
I use the single parenthesis usually for such or for emphasis -- or snarking. But not regulation, as far as I know, dog. And I am trying to keep living for something's gotta give. And it's OK to start a sentence with the otherwise conjunctive 'and'... I've checked; can't recollect exactly. I believe it was some British guide along the lines of Oxbridge. Whatever, as the girls do proclaim.
