Person of Color

Changes in the neighborhood. Getting chillier overnight. As mentioned, just drove around a bit to get images to while the time away with. I amuse myself, and sometimes African-Americans, by referring to myself as a person of color as I'm splatted with brown spots.

I've ever been curious about the dynamics of melanin with regard to pigmentation. If indeed we've migrated 'out of Africa' since being upright, were we darker and lightened up through the multi-millennia, the ultra-violet rays needing less absorption? Are freckles a vestige? How exactly how did the melanin coloration select out?

Ah, yes... back in the day when all we needed was picked off of trees or scavenged however. Then - The Hunt. I was hunting for interesting shots. The best I could do.

Drive by this patch often. Love the colors. Looked on a color wheel to define this one. Amaranth. Would be great to actually go to the South Pacific? Thinking of Gaugain.

Really... I am. But the subject just got changed! How's 'bout them colors! Sweet.
